Tips for Getting Started with Astrologer's Desk
Steps that will enable you to make most out of your App experience
Switching to a new app or software can be challenging as learning new things. We as software developers always try hard to make the software intuitive but still it takes time and patience to get used to any new app. Read on to get steps to power-up your experience with Saptarishis Astrologer's Desk.
After creating an account, follow these steps:
1. Update Preferences
2. Create Chart
3. View Modules like Dashas, Transit
4. Visit Reports
1. Update Preferences
As an Astrologer, we all are different. Depending on where and how you've learned Vedic Astrology, you will always follow your unique approach to read a chart. Since there are many calculations and methods available for each and every aspect in Astrology, we have provided you different options to customize the app. You can go to "Preference" to change Language, Chart style (North/South/East), Dasha calculation options, Char Karak, Theme and so on. At the minimum, you should review and update Language and Chart style.
2. Create Chart
After updating the preferences, now is the time to create a Chart (or Birth Chart or Janampatri or Teva or Patri).
You may go to the Create Chart screen by either clicking on + sign at the bottom right of the screen or click on "New/Open Chart" from Menu (click on breadcrumb to the left of Saptarishis)
On the Create chart screen, you can enter Name, birth details (date, month & Year), Place of birth and time of birth. Gender & Category are optional.
Once you hit "Show Chart", the App will display D1 & D9 chart screen.
3. View Modules
On the chart screen, click on "Chart Options"
This will open up "Module" screen.
4. Visit Reports
To view different Reports, click on "Reports" section on Chart Options screen.
Note: In the WebApp (https://saptarishis.net), you will be able to navigate to various Modules & Reports using Mega Menu
